Very angry and sad and frustrated this little book. I read all the acknowledgments and it was written during the height of the Covid pandemic and you can tell. Still has hope bc it’s a kids book but there is less of it. It is a very autumnal read and reading it during this very cold week at the end of summer felt very fitting. I really liked this book. It’s a quest through a very interesting world with mushrooms and magical creatures. It’s a little rambling but I liked the the places it went.
