This book took a really long time to become moderately enjoyable. Probably until at least halfway through. Partly due to the very repetitive nature of Sam's focus on perfecting her game. The first several chapters make so much emphasis on Sam spending every hour tweaking code and working through problems and I had no interest in being told that so many times.
I understand the point was to drive home just how much she opens herself up to new people and new experiences later on, but it felt like a chore to get there.
