Roses Are Red by James Patterson
4.0

Such a classic James Patterson. I love his writing and i was reminded of that immediately. Although this wasn’t my fav of his. For some reason i felt a little disconnect with it. I did both read and listen to the audio as well and i did not love the audio. It was a little dry but not only that the audio left out whole chapters. Like consecutive chapters & i went to the book to read the excluded ones. It also didn’t have chapter breaks.. it just kept going like the book was one long chapter. So weird

Back to the actual book, i did not figure out the who so that’s always good. I thought Alex was unusually tied to his job and less so to his kids like i remember him to be. So his character felt a little flat. It was a good mystery tho.
