I will never get tired of this series! When I first read this book back in 2019, there was one part that I was not truly vibin’ with back then. I was not the biggest fan of the Diana’s pregnancy when I first read the books. In my opinion, I felt like Diana and Matthew did not get enough time as a couple before children between the two were introduced. Now flash forward to 2022 and my opinion on that has changed slightly. While, I would still love more time as the two of them, I have come to like pregnancy storyline in this series which plays a bigger role as the story goes on. This book in particular plays a key role in Diana and Matthew’s relationship. We don’t have the typical “they break up in the second novel” trope that sometimes happens but instead we see their relationship challenged. It is a turning point in their relationship and in turn strengthens it. While it is not my favourite out of all the books, it is important nonetheless!
