I'm such a fan of the Jonquil and Lancaster series by Sarah Eden. This was a perfect tie all together and have a beautiful joining of the families!
With such a large family tree on both Artemis and Charlies families, I was thankful for the charts in front of the book and I referred to them often.
Charlie and his love for his nephews and nieces is heart wrenchingly beautiful! Charlie grows up a lot during this book and following his progress is fantastic. I also love that even tho he grows up in ways he's also still his fun loving self! It's so important to find joy in life and to have fun no matter what age you are.
Artemis is a spitfire and defiantly a leader on the outside. Artemis struggles with some hidden baggage but I love how she blooms and goes thru so much healing.
Every book that mentions Mater I just HAVE to mention her in my review. She's my favorite. Can a fictional character give hugs... it feels like Mater does! She has such a beautiful heart!
I also enjoyed meeting the huntresses and can see Charlie's friends as candidates..... can't wait to see what Sarah M Eden has up her sleeves next!
Something that Sarah M Eden ready does amazing at is character development! I enjoyed going on the journey with Charlie and Artemis while they learned to love each other, care for one another, and be themselves.
This is a lovely story plus a culmination of two beloved series. This book could have been 3x the size and I still couldn't have gotten enough!
