Ummmmm this was a big disappointment for me. I loved the premise of this book and it sounded like a very cool Cruel Prince meets Throne of Glass type of book. That was not the case. I found the character development lacking, the descriptions repetitive, and the narrators of the audiobook dreadfully boring and akin to nails on a chalkboard. You get my point. This could have been done in such a cool way, but I ended up being either confused or annoyed most of the time. Also…whoever said this book was spicy was LYING. One scene at the very end, and it would give it like 1.5 🌶️ think old school period drama type spice. Finally (SPOILER), can someone please tell me how one sister has singing/shrieking abilities that can literally destroy a person and the other two sister’s abilities are being able to dance and play instruments really well??? Am I missing something?? Maybe so. But I also don’t care enough to look into it. TTFN folks!
