I was drawn in by the synopsis of the story and it got off to a very interesting start. However, I have never been a fan of stories with heroines that are good at everything but can't handle anything that involves emotional maturity. And also irresistible to every man they come into contact with. The romance between Roselle and Hawthorne seemed sudden and unrealistic. He had an obsessive love of her since she was a child from watching her on TV ! It's like a celebrity dating an obsessive fan, not gonna happen. I wanted to like this book but I couldn't get myself to care about any of the characters, and the flow of the story got weird in places for me. Won't be continuing with this series.
