Places I've Taken My Body: Essays by Molly McCully Brown
5.0
An insightful and engrossing collection of essays on corporeality, faith, travel, disability, ableism, family, and history whose grounding in place provides an effective throughline across these topics. McCully Brown explores her own interiority, her surroundings, and her milieu with equal perspicacity and precision. Her writing is always beautiful and often revelatory. Some of these pieces will stick with me for a long time, and I'm excited to read more of her work.
