I thought this was a pretty good ending to this series. The book itself was a little bit weaker than the previous installments, but there were a lot of story lines that needed to be wrapped up. I did think that Sophronia grew up quite alot, and that was something that she desperately needed to do so that worked in her favor. I did feel like

the romance between her and Soap was a little forced. Part of what always worked between them was how they interacted and Soap as a werewolf was more aggressive than what Sophronia was used to. It just felt hurried, and that really she was pushed into giving their romance a try instead of coming into it on her own terms.
