I'm not so sure that the idea that love could ever be considered a big enough flaw to completely eliminate, is very realistic in my opinion. Why not eliminate hate? Why not destroy any other much more destructive emotion? But Lauren Oliver always delivers with her style of writing and I give her that! The story was gripping.
