The Becoming of Noah Shaw by Michelle Hodkin

This book definitely feels like an opening book vs a book 4. I mean, I know it's technically book one in the spin off, but it's the same characters, just told from Noah's perspective instead of Mara's. So, I loved that this book was told from his perspective because I am obsessed with him in general, but I did miss Mara's perspective a lot. So, my wish would be for the next book to be in dual perspective. Even though Mara is supposed to be evil and all that jazz or whatever, I love her. The bond between her and Noah is great, but I feel like the lack of trust tarnishes it slightly since they aren't honest with each other. A new character named Goose, yes Goose, was freaking awesome! Jamie got on my nerves for some reason. As with this whole series, I am still slightly confused, but it picks up drastically in the last few chapters. I can't wait to see what's going to happen next and hopefully not be as confused! I know people say trigger warnings and all that, but as someone that has dealt with suicide first hand, it didn't bother me in the slightest.
