Darcy and Elizabeth by M.C. Frank

5.0

I got a free e book copy of Darcy & Elizabeth in order to review it but after reading a few pages I just bought the paperback because I had to have it on my shelves. M.C. Frank collected in one book the most famous love declarations from classic and modern literature and yes indeed it is.The scenes are touching and I met a lot of new characters from books I didn't read before but have on my list since ages. Wuthering Heights is one of them. The exciting part is that you find out from which book it is after the excerpt is finished. You can look before but I found it more fun to guess from which book it could be and at the end of the book are all authors with a few information about them listed. Frank altered without loosing the origin of the language and writing style of the author the stories so it is easier understood. Some scenes are longer and some really short but it is always enough to convey what needs to be understood without being spoiled about the whole plot. It had the effect on me that I'm more than curious to read the whole book now and needless to say my list grew again. This book is a gem and must have for all the romantic lover.
