I did not like this book. I almost didn’t finish it multiple times. I feel super guilty that I didn’t like it, especially since I’ve given maybe a handful single star review in my life. But this book was a mess.
The beginning had SUCH promise. I wanted to like it so badly. The premise is so engaging and there were some awesome brief moments. But it dragged so intensely that I nearly tossed it down a hundred times. It was dull and honestly really confusing. I didn’t even seem to know what was happening half the time.
Not a winner. I’m so bummed.
