Mastered By Love
by Stephanie Laurens
Review - Dalziel was fascinating throughout the earlier books and even though I knew who he was as I read the Black Cobra books first his story was still intriguing. I hated Royce's family, but they probably were typical of a tonnish family. Minerva did annoy me a little as she seemed to be completely unbelieving that someone could change. What let it down for me was that we didn't find out how the Bastion Club members found out that Dalziel was Wolverstone. That could have been a brilliantly scripted scene. I wish the Bastion Club had featured more as well. The fact that none of the men can recognise love until the one they love nearly dies is getting repetitive and a bit boring.
