The Cage by Bonnie Kistler

2.0

So this book was a nice revenge and badass-heroin story, a »feel-good« thriller if you will. But the problem for me was that the ottrocities done by the perpetrators were far more realistic than the sudden turn-around in the heroine's circumstances and the happy ending, which makes the whole execution of the concept a bit flat in my opinion. If not for that, the book would have been a 3-star read.
