The First to Die at the End by Adam Silvera
2.0
dark emotional sad tense slow-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: Complicated
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: Yes
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

This book let me down though it had great potential. I may have liked the characters and the overall idea of this book, but the execution was just not it for me. The concept of deathcast is really dark and heavy, and the lovestory seems too lighthearted and too easy and fastpaced to be believable. The plot took way too long to unraveI in my opinion. I also thought the ending was pretty predictable.
