I LOVED THIS BOOK! This fresh take on Arthurian legends/magic and the twining together of it with the stories of enslaved peoples & their own magic/legends was absolutely breathtaking. Add in discussions of grief, the acute pain of losing a loved one, and the ways generational trauma can impact those things - and I was hooked.
