A Chance At All: A Brother's Best Friend Romance by by Angela Nicole Parker (Author) Format: Kindle Edition
lighthearted
medium-paced
3.0
Quick Summary: A brother's best friend romance
My Review: A Chance at All by Angela K. Parker is a contemporary romance. It was released in 2024. It is a standalone novel.
About the Book: "Recently divorced, Nalah Monroe is preparing to leave her past behind. When her flight is delayed last minute, she’s left with one feasible option—to stay with her younger brother. Only, there’s a catch: she must spend Christmas with her family and her brother’s best friend..."
In My Own Words: La and Nic had unfinished business from fifteen years ago. It started with a kiss. Had there always been something between them? Would they finally get the chance they deserved after all this time?
My Final Say: This was a sweet next part of the story romance. It followed the classic trope lines for a brother's best friend romance. There was not too much drama. It had two clearly distinct conflict points, as well as some shifting familial dynamics. Ultimately, it was about a woman finding herself and reclaiming the life of love and happiness that she deserved.
Rating: 3/5
Recommend: Yes
Audience: A
Status/Level: 👍
Other: This would make a great audiobook story.
