The Shining Girls by Lauren Beukes

4.0

This was my second attempt at this book. The first time, I read it in fits and starts and got very confused with the timeline. This time, I read it regularly and it really worked for me. The sketches of the victims are particularly well done - I didn't want any of them to die. The Dan/Kirby angle was well played and the resolution satisfying. Recommend.

19/07/14 - The more I talk about this book, the more I realise how much of it has stayed with me. How vividly I recall certain scenes and characters. That is the mark of a great book.
