I have decided this series needs to end; it feels like it's dragging on. No resolution. And the "teen speak" was too intense in the first half of the book to the point of distraction. I thought Zoey went ditzy (no offense to people who really speak that way) and completely lost her character. It may have been more noticeable than the other books because of the great read I finished just before this one, but so many references to pop culture is going to make this book super dated very quickly. It's neat, but the authors are obviously not interested in long term appeal and are amused with the tie-ins like a bad fad.
The plot moves along at a good clip, although I really wish more would happen so the end would feel closer. This book feels like a shoved in side plot that is really the main plot... I don't know, it just bothers me. I like the overall story, but it's losing it's appeal. Granted, it's written for a younger audience than me.
