Ayala recommended this book to me and I found it at half priced books for $5 and also in my effort to try some john green books, i got it. I love the green brothers, they are so smart and funny. I wouldn’t say this book was my favorite, I liked it less than turtles all the way down, but it was still very interesting and I’m glad I read it. I liked Alaska as a character, she was interesting and funny and I love her attention to literature and her life’s library. I liked the symmetry of 136 days before and 136 days after. I did not expect the main event/ plot twist of the book. Sometimes there were quotes that make you think, and sometimes there were light hearted moments and it was definitely an interesting book.
