I enjoyed this book so much that I couldn't put it down and I stayed up way too late reading it. I am sad that I have to wait for the next one.

You will laugh and cry and everything in between. You will be angry and feel the pain of the characters. Alex is an amazingly strong FMC and you will see her pushed further than you thought possible. While Alex isn't one to give into old notions of a prince saving his princess, Aaron will do anything and be pushed to his limits to save her.

I can't say enough amazing things about this book, but don't want to give too much away. If you are someone who loves fantasy and is ok with a lot of triggers, you won't be disappointed. This is the second book in a series and without reading the first book a lot of this one would be confusing. The first book is The Head, The Heart, and The Heir.

I can't wait for the next book.
