When making my graphics for this review I struggled to decide what themes to promote because there are so many great ones! Found family, fated mates, sleeping beauty curse, secret Princess, twins, gender exploration, queer cast, plus size mc.

This was my first book by A.K. Mulford and now I need to read their entire back catalogue because this book was perfection. One of my favourite reads of the year. I need to own this asap. Also the cover is stunning! 

Sleeping beauty style curse breaking with lots of ‘wolf’ language sprinkled throughout the text. 

Told from Calla’s POV, they’re the secret twin/heir to the throne who has to watch her sister marry the man they’ve been crushing on for years. The start of the book is so dramatic I was immediately hooked. 

I don’t tend to read books with spice, so this was top tier spicy for me but I really enjoyed it. Really helped that Grae was such a great character and I enjoyed watching their relationship grow.
