The Constitution Demands It: The Case for the Impeachment of Donald Trump by Ron Fein, John Bonifaz, Ben Clements

Admittedly I'm a little late to the game on this one, but man, what a way to get me fired up all over again after having lived through the greatest threat to democracy that I have ever personally witnessed. At the time of my writing this (Sept. 2021), Donald J. Trump has twice been impeached by the House of Representatives and both times was found not guilty during the Senate trials. The first time in 2019 only two articles of impeachment were introduced: abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. The second time in 2021 only one article was brought forth: incitement of insurrection. This book, when it was published in 2018, clearly and rationally outlined eight distinct grounds for Trump's impeachment, starting with his violation of the Emoluments Clause from day one of his presidency. I applaud the authors of this book and their organization, Free Speech For People, for doing Congress' job for them and for having the balls to stand up and fight for our democracy.
