When our FMC wakes up with no memory of the night before and a raging hangover, she is confused to find strangers in the street staring at her, colleagues being distant and her roommate is nowhere to be seen.

A video of her has gone viral, and it isn't one she's proud of. As if that wasn't bad enough, her roommate and best friend? She's dead in the bathtub.

The police are calling it an accident but she knows Posey isn't that careless, so now it's up to her to investigate the circumstances leading up to her friends death and now she must piece together the events of the night before.

This book was my first five star read of 2025 and probably the book that kept me wanting to pick up more books. It kept me so gripped that I read it in two sittings. It had the perfect levels of humour and mystery and was beautifully written.
