This was highly enjoyable for the first half of the book while the second felt like I was reading a first draft.
I was highly disappointed by the sudden love interest between Emily and Wendell. Also the whole fairy king plot just came out of nowhere for me. I just wanted more of Emily studying fairies. The fact that she can charm and twist her words to suit the fairies but not people made no sense. There were just a couple of elements in here I wasn’t a fan of.
