Lake of Souls: The Collected Short Fiction
by Ann Leckie
I think the title story might have been my favorite in this collection, but there are several stand outs. There were some real LeGuin vibes to these stories, by which I mean anthropological vibes. Leckie is definitely one of my all time favorites and this collection does not disappoint.
I bounced *hard* off of [b:The Raven Tower|39395857|The Raven Tower|Ann Leckie|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1523646507l/39395857._SY75_.jpg|61051116] because second-person perspective doesn't work for me, but after reading the stories set in that world, I'm going to have to give it another try.
