In a Holidaze by @christinalauren ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ I was most excited to read this book this December, and outside of @bookofthemonth delivering it pretty late, it lived up to all my expectations. It is the perfect amount of cheesy romance, mixed with wholesome Christmas traditions. I was a little worried at the beginning, because our two leads, Maelyn & Andrew have been childhood besties since they were in diapers. I feel like those romance plots can get a little messy, but this one was tugging on my heart strings the entire time. I loved that they spoke about the transition into what Christmas means when your an adult. Sometimes it means doing the dishes that you never had to do, and letting the littles do everything you used to do , but it is Christmas nonetheless. While I was reading the book, I was totally enveloped in the story, but once I finished and reflected there were a few plot holes that bothered me. The time loop situation was not fully thought out, I mean either she finds her true love or her whole family might perish??? I just needed it to make more sense, but the overall vibes were good.
