The Upside of Falling Down by Rebekah Crane

3.0

If something tastes good, don’t ask what it’s made of. You might be disappointed.

The Upside of Falling Down is a bit hard for me to rate. There are definitely some good points; Kieran is wonderful and there is a fun cast of characters in a small town. The banter is fun and it's set in Ireland, which always gets some extra points from me.

However, there are some things that I don't like as much.
Spoiler Clementine tells her father to wait for her and then disappears for weeks with no word. How could you do that to a father who flew across the ocean to be with you?
Additionally, everything seemed to work out a bit too quickly at the end.

There is definitely some fun fluff, but if you look too closely at the ingredients, you may be a little disappointed.
