Farewell Waltz by Milan Kundera

5.0

One of Kundera's lesser known novels, might as well be one of his best. Not as sprawling as his more well known novels, this is still highly reminiscent of his first and best, The Joke. This reads like a short story from Laughable Love that went on to become something much more.

Kundera remains the master of creating a world with five characters and of reducing the rest into nothingness.
