after many months of trying to find time for reading while studying, im finally done! in the most crucial studying period nonetheless!
im having trouble rating this book because the main problem that i had with it (besides the writing style, that was eyeroll-worthy at times, i must admit) stopped existing in the last 50 pages. suddenly that one hole in the plot and in the overall message of the book got explained and everything was great.
the ending was amazing, i wasn't expecting such a betrayal and i wasn't expecting the protagonist to act like that! it left me feeling a little melancholy, just how i like my book endings!
in general, this book was a great choice for this time in my life, i was way too busy to read serious stuff. knowing that i was gonna open the book and find wine and drama was very comforting.
this girlie, tess, the protagonist, has a serious savior complex that she needs to get rid of. girl! you cannot fix these people, give it up!
overall, much better than it looks in the first 30 pages, could have been better though.
gotta get back to my daily stress and anxiety now! toodles!
