The Last Russian Doll
by Kristen Loesch
Home is not a place—it’s people.
This is what was going through my mind throughout the book. Throughout all the hardships, impossible circumstances, and heartbreak, The Last Russian Doll shows how important relationships are and being with those you love no matter what.
Set in two different timelines, around 1915 and the 1990s, the author does a beautiful job weaving them together for a very wrapped up ending.
I would recommend this book to anybody that loves historical fiction and wants to learn more about the Russian culture during these times!
