The Rogue Queen by Emily R. King

2.0

The Rougue Queen is the third story in The Hundredth Queen series. I loved the first book. The main character, Kalinda was strong and grew into herself and her powers. This book begins where the second left off, our main characters Kalinda, Ashwin, Devin and company are traveling to the south isles where they can regroup and plan an attack to take back their empire and get rid of the demon Udug. I felt this story dragged. It felt like one step forward and two steps back. It took too long to come to the point. This series was originally meant to be a trilogy book and I must say mid-book I was looking forward to the conclusion. Unfortunately, Emily R. King has decided to extend to at least a fourth book and left this third book unfinished at the end. I am unsure if I will read the next story.
