LMFAO. I was so excited to read an "Anti-colonial Revenge Horror Story" but the writing was sooo cringe. I literally turned it into a drinking game at some point for descriptions of Latinx characters that felt like a hate crime ("Her lip liner that was one shade darker than her lipstick")
The horror story itself is decently written (if you're up for some intense bug/body horror). It's the modern day setting thats painfully written.
