The Golden Dynasty by Kristen Ashley
1.0
Hi, hello, this book is seriously effed up. Please do yourself a favour and don't read this book. I felt like throwing up the entire time.
TW: I will be mentioning sexual assault and assault.
It's a love story (*gag*) about a woman who wakes up in another world to find herself in a cage surrounded by a strange people who don't speak her language. She, and the other women in the cage, are then set to run in a forest (I think it was a forest) where they are then hunted down by the warriors/eligible bachelors of the Horde. When the men catch the women they chain and collar them, r*pe them, and then take them as their wives. Now, our main character is special because this time the king who never participates sees her and decides she's the one (because of her hair colour??). He does the above to her and then pronounces her his Golden Queen to his people. And then he assualts her a bunch, she falls in love because he's not like the other r*pists.
Newsflash Kristen Ashley, sexual assault is a terrible, often life destroying thing. To have a book where the love interest assaults the main character several times and then she falls in love with him because it's his culture and she just didn't understand is awful.
