Point of Danger by Irene Hannon

5.0

I loved this book! Read it in two days. I love most Irene Hannon so i'm not too surprised but this was one of the better ones.
Eve Reily is a radio talk show host who is used to drawing controversy and has had her share of angry listeners. But now it appears a listener is out for revenge . A suspicious package arrives at Eves doorstep and law enforcement gets involved. Detective Brent Lange is put on the case and is worried this threat is more than just a package. While trying to find the culprit or culprits these two develop a connection that Eve hopes she will survive to explore.
I love how Hannon put a story that is extremely relevant to today's events and a relationship that isn't an easy breezy love story. It's realistic and relatable. The suspense is enough to keep you reading and guessing until the end. I am also excited that this is book one of a series! I'm assuming the other books will be about Eve's sisters and I can't wait to read their stories.
Thank you Netgalley for the advance copy of this book.
