My general thoughts about the first 3 books in this series:
The three books in the bundle I got were Justice Calling, Murder of Crows, and Pack of Lies. They're perfectly fine stories, and I enjoyed reading them. There isn't really a system of magic as much as different classes of being having different powers. There's some extra interest and a little moral ambiguity with the main character (Jade) being what she is. The way she gains extra powers is a little unsettling, and may lead to further complications down the line.
The writing is competent and readable. I was drawn along through all the stories quickly. There's not too much romance, which is fine with me, though there is some.
Not sure I'm invested enough in what's going on to continue the series, but if you need a fast read that has some interesting world-building choices, these books are fine.
