Royally Endowed by Emma Chase
3.0

Out of all the books in the Royally series, this is the one I've been waiting for. Ellie Hammond and Logan St James have been dancing around each other since [b:Royally Screwed|29991719|Royally Screwed (Royally, #1)|Emma Chase|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1463068765s/29991719.jpg|50395229] - the princess's sister and the brooding, hot bodyguard. But don't worry if you haven't read the other books, as this storyline is concurrent to the others. Now I was expecting a love/hate scenario and instead got cringe-worthy moments and slow angst. I cringed and groaned and face palmed myself for like 50% of this book. Ellie was young, naive and dumb. Her words, her actions, her reactions made me want to crawl underneath a rock and hide, that's how embarrassed I was for her. She clearly had a crush on the sexy bodyguard. But Logan is dedicated to the job, to the crown. He has made a name for himself, works hard and is loyal.

The books dedication "To sweet crushes and slow burns" aptly sums up this book. There was a much serious tone to the book than the others. Lots of royal antics, weddings, babies and Queen Lenora being her usual stoic self.

All in all this was an enjoyable book, despite those cringeworthy moments, and ended the series perfectly.

I wonder if Tommy will get his story....
