I loved the character development for Zoya! Not at all upset that she completely outshined Nikolai. So many surprises in this book, towards the end I was literally not only crying one minute, but also screaming and cheering the next! Other reviews say it was a bit of a stretch with the magic, but it was stated in the very first trilogy that the lines between Grisha and Saint were always blurred. So honestly when you think about it we really should’ve seen this coming. I mean seriously over and over we heard characters reinforce that the saints were just powerful Grisha so I don’t understand reviews that are confused about the magic. Overall I really enjoyed reading this. And that last chapter OMFG SoC 3!!! I cannot wait!!
