Believe Me
by JP Delaney
Nope that wasn't it. Over the top, the characters, especially the female ones, were hollow and oh my god those ‘sex’ scenes? Not to be That Girl but I'm gonna be That Girl: as I read them I kept thinking that those scenes had to be written by a man. And it's true! JP Delaney is a pseudonym for a male author who is riding on that psychological thriller written by women wave by only writing under initials. I mistakenly thought the author was a woman but as one person started to ‘play with her nipples like on a radio’ (quote is paraphrased) I knew that this must have been a man writing this.
I probably will try out the first novel by JP Delaney (which is not the first novel of the author) but I have a hunch that the same weird sexual undertones are there on each page, too.
