This book is a great and thoughtful read, even if it's also heartbreaking because you know how it's going to end. Fagan intersperses her own experiences as an athlete and how the grind wears on your mental health, with Maddy Holleran's, a college athlete who was ultimately overwhelmed by the stressors of trying to be everything to everyone. This is a really great book if you're interested in the mental health issues that persist particularly within women's athletics and how they've been ignored for far too long.
