This book has such a beautiful cover and description, I wish it had lived up to my hopes but it did not. I am always drawn to books where the house has secrets or a life of its own, but this one just didn't pan out for me. The writing seemed juvenile to me and I had to check to see if the book was YA. (No offense to YA!) I don't know. I didn't hate it, it just wasn't my jam.
