One of the Girls
by Lucy Clarke
PUB DAY REVIEW // ONE OF THE GIRLS
“For all the mistakes we made, we couldn’t have known then —in the blazing heat of morning —that hours later, one of us would kill”
Six Girls. One bachelorette trip on a secluded Greek island…the ends in murder.
Lexi never thought she was the marrying type until she met Ed. She is so excited to enjoy the bliss that marriage has to offer, and is looking forward to celebrating her upcoming nuptials with her five close, but very different friends. Bella, Lexi’s maid of honor has a fun weekend planned with cocktails at midnight, dinner at rustic tavernas and an evening bonfire to end this magical girls weekend.
Each women is hiding a secret — and someone is determined to make sure Lexi’s wedding NEVER happens. And that one of them doesn’t leave the island alive.

Okay, this was SUCH a wonderful summer thriller!!!!!!!!!!!! The theme wasn’t too heavy, so this book is the perfect book to toss in your beach bag! I spent all day Saturday reading this book, because it was too good to put down!!!! Yes, there were six different POV’s but it was NEVER confusing because each girl was vastly different. I truly enjoyed all the characters, and boy, did each of them have some dirty laundry! I was SO invested in the storyline, and thought this book was extremely well written.
I must talk about the atmospheric setting: I absolutely LOVED the Greek backdrop to this book - the use of detail and imagery made me FEEL as if I was on a Greek island eating alllllll the hummus and fresh veggies (while getting my tan on, of course!)
BUY THIS BOOK AND READ IT BY THE POOL! (please&thankyou!)
OH! and P.S: get your popcorn ready…this book is being turned into a movie!
Simone Says Read This if you enjoy:
*greek islands
*slow burns
*multiple pov’s
*short chapters
*read in one sitting books
thank you to @netgalley and @putambooks for this ARC in exchange for an honest review!
