I really enjoyed this book overall. The chapters are a bit long, and the second half almost felt like it could have been a separate book entirely. In fact, I wouldn’t have minded a sequel covering the journey that’s mentioned toward the end. That said, the ending was satisfying.
The beginning does a great job of making you question everything—you’re not quite sure what’s going on or who to trust. As the story progresses, some things become more confusing while others invite speculation. Gradually, the answers begin to unfold, which makes for an engaging read.
If you're someone who likes to read with an investigative mindset—looking for clues, forming theories, and piecing things together—you’ll probably enjoy this book a lot.
