These novellas are the heart of this series, and I can say with brutal honesty that I would not keep going through the series if the novellas didn't keep pulling me back in.
This Novella is everything that I was missing from The Witches Blade. My biggest complaint with that book was that I couldn't connect with Rua, and I wanted more from Renwick's pov. Ask and you shall receive.
I loved this. I loved getting his back story. I loved learning more of where his Witchslayer name came from, I loved learning more about his powers. I wish so much that this could have been implemented more into book 2.
