My favorite book of nonsense verse and one of my favorite books of all time even now as an adult. Wallace Tripp's writings are far more memorable and enjoyable than the traditional nursery rhymes.
It is fun and wondrous and whimsical. Everyone should read nonsense even if just as a reminder not to take themselves too seriously, that the world and everyone in it are often absurd and it's a sad, terrible thing not to be able to laugh at ourselves.
