At times, I found this book confusing as Reichl introduced new name after new name of the ever-revolving door of Gourmet staff. Beyond that, I wholeheartedly enjoyed this book. I kept reading to learn more about the hidden world of magazine publishing, recipe testing, and about Ruth herself and all the amazing people surrounding her.
