A beautifully written book of love, loss, new beginnings, and tearful endings. It is written from the perspective of the spirits of all those gay men who came before us who are trying to guide those who are still around.

The main story is about two teens, Harry & Craig who are attempting to break the world record for the longest kiss, but it also follows the lives of Avery & Ryan - a blue-haired boy & pink-haired boy who are navigating a new relationship - Connor, who is struggling with his life, and Neil & Paul, who have been in a relationship for a year and are starting to have problems.

With so many gay stories out there, this book tries to follow as many as it can in an intricately woven novel. Whilst I wasn’t a fan of the writing style at first, I very quickly got into the book and then managed to whizz through it. Overall this is a very sweet and charming book and I’d very happily recommend it.

And just a warning that it discusses suicide, AIDS, homophobic slurs, & abuse.
