Well.. that was WILD lol
If you’re looking for 500+ pages of pure fantasy smut, this is it lol.
I think if it wasn’t so long, I would have enjoyed it more. But it was just too much smut where I eventually got bored and would fall asleep. 😬 I honestly liked the plot, and if we had cut down maybe 200 pages of spice, it would have still been wild, smutty, and memorable, but not as repetitive and drawn out?
I also didn’t really care for our fmc. Tem’s character was chaotic. It seemed like the author couldn’t decide if she wanted her to be timid or bitchy. There wasn’t a gradual shift in confidence. It was just constantly back and forth which made it jarring and annoying. Either way, the immaturity and the insecurity made her incredibly weak.
Most of the first half of the book is childish, and the dialogue is juvenile which made the constant smut just uncomfortable.
She’s so arrogant but then completely insecure and jealous the next moment. She would literally go from *woe is me* but then is so insensitive about other people’s feelings.Shes so rude to the prince claiming he has everything while she has nothing when he’s telling her he’s unhappy.
Now that I think of it, I think most of my beef with this book was Tem 😂 meanwhile, Leo was my fav!
Anyway- definitely a wild ride, would recommend if you’re looking for a super spicy *wtf* read lol.
