Lucky in Love tells the story of Maddie, a hard-working and goal-orientated teen trying to juggle the many challenges of life. After buying a lotto ticket and winning 30 million dollars everything changes and suddenly she's not sure who to trust.
I have loved all of Kasie West's books pretty equally but I really enjoyed this premise! I thought the characters were really well done in relation to the different reactions to Maddie's win and their subsequent treatment of her, and I loved the overarching morals of balancing hard work and living life. Overall a cute, fun read.
